Meet the RAFT Staff Team
Senior Minister - Rev. Phil Meulman
Phil has been been leading the people of RAFT Anglican Church since 2001; a role which he considers a privilege. Since that time RAFT has amalgamated and moved from Ferntree Gully to Rowville where we have a fabulous new facility from which to run ministries that seek to engage with the wider community of Knox. Phil loves preaching, reading the Bible, playing guitar and sailing (when he gets the chance). He is married to Barb and has three amazing kids – Anna, Josh and Laura.
At RAFT we have a vision to be ‘a church known in the community gladly serving Jesus Christ’, and our ministries seek to reflect this vision in all we do.

Associate Minister - Rev. Shannon Lee
Shannon says "I'm so excited to be a part of the team here at RAFT, it is not only honouring to God but it is a great and fun place to work". She has been at RAFT for a number of years now and each year has found herself challenged, blessed and excited as she sees the Church grow. Her role here at RAFT is as the Youth Minister. She is only able to work two days a week at RAFT as she spends the rest of her time caring for her adorable baby daughter Mia. She also is a wife to her "amazing husband Matthew" and a lover of good Coffee. Her favourite food is undoubtably ice cream and most things crunchy! She loves to facebook, read and watch pretty much any crime show there is. However one of the most pleasing things she gets to do is iron! She loves that there are instant results with that....there is a crease,... now it is gone! yeah!

Assistant Minister - Rev. Randle Bond
Randle has joined the staff at RAFT after having completed his training at Ridley Melbourne at the end of 2010. He is married to Katie and they have recently moved to Rowville. He is passionate about seeing peoples lives changed by the Gospel and journeying with them in their faith. At RAFT he is learning the ministry ropes so to speak and therefore involved in lots of different activities around the church. He loves playing indoor soccer, bike riding, listening to music, enjoying a beer with friends and any excuse to buy or use power tools (when he gets the time).

Children 's & Families Minister - Jenny Coole
Jenny is married to Jeff and they have two beautiful grown up daughters Nicole, who is married to Andrew, and Alyce. In her spare time (when she gets it!), she loves to oil paint while listening to Christian music. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is working at RAFT as the Children’s and Families Minister. Jenny sees her job as a "great privilege". She says "We have a wonderful children’s ministry team and lots of exciting things happening, such as playgroups and mainly music through the week, and Kingfishers and Little Faiths on a Sunday morning. What I love about working at RAFT is seeing so many young families worshipping God together on a Sunday morning, and the great way we connect with families in the community".

Facilities / Office Coordinator - Gillian Williams
Gill is married to Pete and has two handsome sons, Luke and Keaton. Her role as facilities and office co-ordinator involves many activities and quite a few volunteers. She enjoys outreach into the community through the playgroup, VCAL and through people walking into church for welfare or to find a new spiritual home. Gill says "I like to believe that I am a team member and I love being involved and try to help other ministries in any way I can". She enjoys walking, talking and eating. She also loves painting, but "has to be in the right frame of mind". She loves to praise God through music and singing (but is not a "singer")!
