The Alpha Course 

Over 16 million people around the world have attended an Alpha course to ask questions about the meaning of life. It is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It’s relaxed, low key, friendly and fun! It’s a place where people can come and ask questions, delve into issues and look for answers together. Everyone has really enjoyed the first course that we've run this year. We'll be starting a new course on the 24th August. The new course will run at two times each Wednesday: 1pm-2:30pm and 7pm - 9:30pm.

What’s involved?
The Alpha course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘How does God guide us?’ After each talk we divide into small groups for a time of discussion.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone, especially: those wanting to investigate Christianity; new Christians; newcomers to the church; those who want to brush up on the basics. Come along by yourself or come along with a friend. There is no pressure, so you can always come along for just one night to check it out. We would encourage you to commit to the whole time to get the most benefit out of it.

What will it cost?
There is no charge for the course, but you may be asked to make a contribution towards food.

Can I help?
Yes! Pray for the course. Please consider inviting a friend as this is a great opportunity. We also need helpers, caterers and participants.
